When it comes to the 2016 model, the fabric resembles a kind of jersey which is not necessarily easy to be cleaned, yet, at the same time, it is very pleasant to touch and is particularly pleasant for your children. The material of the newest version of this stroller can be cleaned easily since it is nylon. Unfortunately, it is not as pleasant as the fabric used in the previous model.

Both of the versions of Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double will provide your child with five-point harness which is absolutely needed for safety.

The cover of the handlebars in both of the strollers is made of rubber, however, there are some differences in the area covered in these strollers.

Wheels and suspension

The size of the wheels of Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double is 8.5 inches and it is the same for all of the wheels. I am more than glad that the manufacturer added suspension to all of the wheels.

The design of the wheels has rubber feeling which means you will not have to maintain the tires as they will never become flat.

The front wheels are featured by a swivelling mechanism which can be locked whenever you find it uncomfortable. Even though Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double is not a real jogger, it can be used on all types of terrains. This will give you complete freedom with the places where you will be able to go with your babies.

Brake

Unlike many other strollers, Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double as well as its previous version are using a hand brake. Note that the position of this brake is not on the handlebar as it is installed on the right-hand side of the frame. This is actually a great solution as you will not activate it accidentally while pushing the stroller.

At the same time, a hand brake is also great since you will not have to worry about your shoes anymore.

Storage options

In the case of the previous model of this stroller, there are also two bars limiting the access to the basket. Even though their design looks in a somewhat different way, it still makes the access troublesome.

As you can imagine, even though the storage baskets can hold a lot, the design of the chassis will not allow you to use the full capacity of these baskets.

On the back sides of the seats, you will find to handy pockets for some small items such as your smartphone or keys.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double – colour versions

If you look at Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double and compare its appearance to the strollers of the same model released in 2016, you will find that their design differs a lot. Whether you will like such changes or not depends on your personal preferences.

Some parents find the design of Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double more sophisticated than the appearance of the previous version of this stroller. Second of all, this stroller is featured by a large weight capacity which is not thus popular among double strollers which tend to have somewhat limited options for transporting babies. This stroller will be suitable for caring two pre-schoolers at a time.

Furthermore, I am really glad this stroller is an all-terrain one. This is extremely important for people who really want to invest in one single stroller without switching to another one in the future. Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double actually gives parents such an opportunity as it can be used conveniently not only around the city but also in some natural sights.
